Whatcha Eatin'? January 30th Edition

This week is a busy one! My "to do" list is a mile long, so I have two meals that will be cooked in the crockpot this week. Mommy is having a Thirty One Open house this week on Thursday, so Dad is in charge.   The boys love having their Dad all to themselves, not sure Dad would agree.

Every week I try to make at least one new recipe to add to my list of repeat meals.  This week's recipe we tried out last night and it was delicious!  It was so yummy and rich that we were full after one helping.  That means I have leftovers for lunch!  The only complaint that I have with this recipe was the time and effort it took to make it.  We will keep this on our list to make again.

Here is what we are eatin' this week:

Sunday:  Meatball Sub Casserole, Dinner Salad, Corn

Monday:  Cheeseburger Soup, French Bread, Applesauce

Tuesday:  Beef'n'Noodles (Crockpot), Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Rolls

Wednesday:  Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Sandwhiches, Chips, Veggies & Dip

Thursday:  Frozen Pizza!

Friday:  BBQ Chicken Quesadillas, Fruit

Saturday:  Cheeseburgers, Baked Beans, Fries, Cottage Cheese

What are you making this week?  I'd love to hear about it.  Join me in linking up at Organizing Junkie's Blog.  Have a Fabulous week!

Got my Bzz Kit!

Yay!  I was so excited to get my Bzz Kit for Comforts Baby Products by the Kroger Family of Stores this week!  I was thrilled to open it up to see the incredible goodies for me to try with Baby Sis.

In my Bzz Kit, I was given the following:
  • 1 Coupon for a FREE package of diapers....up to 92 Count! (I ran out and got immediately!)
  • 1 Tub of Comforts Baby Wipes
  • 2 Spill Proof Comforts Sippy Cups
  • 5 20% off Any Comforts Brand Wipes, Formula or Diapers to share with friends (Psst...that could be you.)
We all know how I LOVE Kroger.   I am super excited to try out the Kroger Brand Baby Products!  Baby Sis has been wearing them now for a couple of days, and I am thrilled.  I will give it a couple more days and let you know what I think!

Want to have the opportunity to try out new products?  Become a Bzz Agent like me and start spreading the word!  Right now they are looking for 13-20 year old males to try an electric razor.

Extreme Couponing?

Maybe. I rarely get the chance to run to the store without my kiddos.  However, Sunday I was up early with Baby Sis and decided to make a quick run into town.  I am not a huge fan of our local Walmart because it is usually packed, but a blogger friend of mine from My Springfield Mommy clued me in on some great deals and I wanted to see if they were all sold out.  Boy, am I glad that I stopped!  Check out these fabulous freebies!

  • I had 5 $3/3 Nabisco snack coupons making the Teddy Grahams & Nutter Butters FREE!
  • Then, I had 6 $1/1 Bic Stationary Item...which I actually got back $0.03 per item because they were priced at $0.97, except for the White Out which was $1.00.
  • I had a FREE coupon for the Hasbrowns from my favorite Magazine ALL YOU
  • Finally, I had a coupon for the packaging tape from Duct Tape Website that made the tape FREE! It was priced at $1.00 and the coupon was $1 off any Duct Tape.
Of course, I had to pay sales tax on the items, but my grand total came to $0.59.  Woo Hoo!

Check your coupon stash and see if you have any of these coupons and head to Walmart.  These are regular prices!  Note: The Teddy Grahams are located in the checkout aisle.

Whatcha Eatin'? January 23rd Edition

Last week's new recipe was a disappointment.  My sister-in-law had recommended the Pizza Tot Casserole, so I thought it would be a hit. It was pretty blah.  But again, we are not fans of Tater Tot Casserole.  If you are, you might like this.  This week's new recipe, however, ROCKED!  We had it last night.  It was SIMPLE and TASTY!  I highly recommend it!  Everyone ate it up!

Here is our menu for this week.

Sunday:  Sour Cream Ritz Chicken, Baked Potato Wedges, Green Beans ***New Recipe***

Monday:  Mexican Skillet Rice, Mixed Fruit

Tuesday:  Goulash, Lettuce Salad, Corn, Garlic Bread

Wednesday:  Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Rolls

Thursday:  Stir Fry, Rice, Cottage Cheese, Applesauce

Friday:  Homemade Pizza, Chips, Veggies & Dip

Saturday:  Cheeseburgers, French Fries, Baked Beans, Cottage Cheese

What are you having this week?  Have any awesome, easy recipes you'd like to share?  I love trying out new recipes.  I am looking to build a great collection of 40-60 recipes so we don't have the same thing too often.
